BBD is responsible for your system from first concept to commissioning in your facility. We utilize the highest quality components from global suppliers (easily available anywhere in the world). Simplicity being the key to durability and reliability, all fasteners and mountings are easily accessible utilizing using commonly available maintenance tools found in any factory environment. Critical positioning is fixed by design to minimize adjustments and tweaking. All components are listed on our Bills of Materials along with their original manufacturer's model number and the manufacturer's name. Components are mounted so that manufacturer's label is clearly visible. Detail drawings and specifications for wear parts or other mechanical parts are provided so that you can have them duplicated in your tool room or take them to your favorite machinist for duplication.
While we will provide you with replacement parts, our interest is maximizing your machine availability for production, not maximizing our service income. Focus in our designs and information is to make it as easy and fast as possible to get your BBD system back in operation in the event of a failure. We don't worry about who does it...just that you are back online as quickly as possible.
MAINTAINABILITY: When faults do occur, ability to detect, diagnose, and repair in the shortest possible time is of critical importance. better by design systems contain self diagnostic software and easily accessible fasteners and components that can be managed with standard tools normally carried by your maintenance personnel. The Operating & Maintenance Manuals supplied with each system contain complete listings with component manufacturer's name and part numbers as well as detail drawings and specifications for custom parts so you can have replacements fabricated in your shop or by the vendor of your choice.
