Down Hole Pump Test/Assembly
Rugged high capacity down hole pumps are a high value product where failure is an expensive proposition. In this case, key parameters such as pump capacity, cavitation, motor loading, etc. have to match rigid specifications under real working conditions. This BBD system tests pumps that range from just 18 inches long to 4 feet long, matching the pump with the correct motor (located on an underwater turntable) to measure the pump capabilities including pressure, gallons per minute, stall or obstructed operation, etc. in a submerged environment. Pumps are fed to the machine and passed pumps exit the machine, are finished assembled, and packaged as required. Product weight in these conditions range from just a few pounds to as much as 50-75 pounds, so the machine product handling capacity is highly robust to handle this variability.
